バトロコグラニスの一種。
以前はプセウドピメロダスの一種として紹介されることが多かったようですが、
模様や体形が全く異なっています。
種類によって、成魚サイズが大きく異なるため、本種がどの程度大きくなるかは
成長させなければ分かりません。
飼育は容易です。
入荷は稀。
