カラシン類

全体的に楕円形の体型をしています。
成魚は顎から下腹にかけてピラニア特有の真紅に染まります。
中サイズまでは、体側に薄い黒点がありますが、成魚では無くなります。
尾鰭の色彩は尾柄に近い部分と縁辺が黒く染まります。
現在はノタータスの学名はカリバに変更に成っており使用されていません。

小形個体の入荷は稀。
